Today was a big day inside the salon.... One of my clients took out her NBR for good. I’m sure a lot of you are reading this wondering how TF this can be a goo...d thing that we decided to take her NBR out. Well here’s what’s up... About three years ago Kellie came to me and her hair was fried and breaking off. The top layers were not very long and we clearly had to do SOMETHING. We started with Olaplex treatments to get her slightly longer than chin length hair back in shape. Then came NBR. This was a hell of a process. She couldn’t go long because her hair was too short. So we started with a bob. As her hair grew, we decided to go long with her NBR. We went from short bob, to regular bob, to lob (long bob), to boob length hair!! Her NBR went from 2.5 Rows, and worked our way to none. Her hair has FINALLY grown and is in really good shape. Do extensions make your hair grow? Nope. But knowing she had extensions she took much better care of it that it gave her hair a break and a chance to grow. She’s testing out the no extension life for now. We may ending up putting one row back in as a filler row just for extra thickness. But for now I’m just proud that she was able to grow her hair out healthy!!! I’ll never get over this transformation. You don’t really realize how much you miss your natural color until you join the rainbow world I totally understand ...how she felt afterwards, I’ve gone through the sammeee transformation! In case you haven't heard... I'm moving to Laguna Beach, CA. I'll be honest... I knew I would have some clients that would freak but I never really expected t...his type of response. Today I had a client I haven't seen for a long time call me and leave me a voicemail telling me how proud she was of me. A friend from work told me my happiness is contagious and passion and fire just pour out of me. This is the general gist of what I've been hearing all day. I am beyond humbled by all of the kind words I am hearing from all of my clients and friends. It makes me beyond happy to know the love I have for NBR, BMS, and this entire industry is seen from a mile away. You guys fucking rock
