(Español abajo) Hi all, We are instituting precautionary measures at the health center starting next week due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). If you are concerned you could have Coronavirus, please CALL us if you have cough/fever AND one of the following: have traveled outside of the United States in the past 14 days or have been exposed to a known Coronavirus patient. If you are unable to call, we will have a doorbell by the main entrance, if you have flu symptoms (cough AND ...fever) and are unable to call us please come ring the bell and a nurse will come to evaluate you outside the health center. Thank you and good hand-washing goes a long way! Hola a todos, empezando esta próxima semana estaremos tomando medidas precaucionarías debido al Coronavirus (COVID-19). Si estás preocupado de que tú tal vez contagiaste el Coronavirus, favor de llamarnos a la clínica si tienes tos/fiebre Y uno de los siguientes: has viajado fuera de los Estados Unidos en los últimos 14 días o has estado expuesto a alguna persona que contagio el Coronavirus. Covid vaccine update: AVHC distributed 500 vaccines last week to essential workers, school district employees and people aged 75 and over. We have not received an additional allocation for this week. We are hopeful for more vaccine supply next week. We are distributing vaccines according to county and state guidelines (phase 1a and 1b) and have still not reached distribution to 65 and older. We will contact our patients as they become eligible. Please stay tuned for more info...rmation. All vaccine distribution will be by appointment only. Please only come if you have been contacted and given an appointment time from either AVHC or your employer. We got vaccinated! Over the past two weeks we vaccinated all our eligible staff and 30 EMS workers. We worked in partnership with AV Fire and Redwood Coast Medical Services to get vaccines out to Gualala. Stay tuned for more info on when we will be able to start vaccinating our patients!
