Any ballroom dance couple knows that leader-follower chemistry requires knowing just how much to push back and how much to lean in. Take it from a country-western dancer of old, following is only fun when your leader is skilled, strong, and aware of everything happening on the floor. We'll dig into this metaphor and address your questions and scenarios about gracefully and adroitly leading highly sensitive children while loving them into their own leadership as they become teens and then young adults. We begin from the moment of conception (or adoption) to love our children unconditionally while preparing them to leave us. It's a very challenging and paradoxical task, but one we can and will manage with love.
