Wishing you a safe and happy New Year! #Togetherinspired #2020 #HappyNewYear
Kern County Public Health managed the distribution and allocation of the first round of vaccines, following state guidelines on prioritizing healthcare workers and first responders. At this time, we don’t have the capability or supplies to vaccinate the community or information on when that may happen. Kern County Public Health continues to take the lead on vaccine distribution as well as the overall coordination of response to this pandemic. We will continue to work closely with and follow the recommendations of our local public health partners. To learn more about how vaccines will be distributed, please follow the Kern County Public Health Facebook page. We will also share more information about community vaccinations as it becomes available.

Today, we say thank you to those who have served and those who continue serving each day. And a special message of gratitude to the U.S. veterans at our hospital, clinics and support departments, who continue to serve our patients, our teams and our communities through their Sacred Work. #VeteransDay #ThankYou #sacredwork
We are the front line, caring for the victims of COVID-19. But we are also the last line of defense against this virus. YOU are the first line of defense. Every Californian can do their part. Our physicians and nurses are calling on you to follow the prescription: Don’t share your air. Stay home, mask, wash your hands, distance, and when you can, vaccinate. Thank you. #MaskUp #spreadhopenotgerms #christmas2020
