This is because results are much slower. You can’t build as much muscle in a month as you could burn off body fat. We believe there’s only one form of weight most clients are looking to burn off and that is body fat. Reducing more than one type of weight would be burning body fat along with the other factors that make up weight reduction like WATER WEIGHT (temporary, and what most trainers get you for... those first two weeks then for some reason you get it all back when you stop the program after two months because you’re no longer burning off weight, yea that’s because you have already reduced your water weight and your coach doesn’t really know how to manage CONTINUED fat loss) GLYCOGEN LOAD WEIGHT (temporary, usual lower carb approach will naturally lower your glycogen storage levels compared to what you were most likely eating before you started a program) And the worse MUSCLE LOSS (permanent, though it can be grown back, muscle loss is muscle lost.
