A shout out to Bullit Drones for bringing me into the squad of professional drone'rs. Thanks Shawn for hooking 3DSMITHY up with Zoe Stumbaugh to help with new designs for her super drone. We worked on a new camera mount and antenna-to-frame support enhance the flying experience and cut down on the destructive effects of unintended landings. Zoe just got back from competing at a national event in New York and I hope the gear worked well for her. 3DSMITHY is ready for more so bring it on!

3D printouts are not just about making toys and trinkets. Next time something breaks and the warranty is up, or your model is no longer supported / obsolete, don't feel forced into having to purchase a "new and improved" version of the same thing to do the same job. Don't -recycle- it by taking it to the right barrel or drop off point. Get it fixed and back to work. If the part that broke is the weak link in the chain and everything else is solid and working fine, have a "new and improved" part designed and printed not to break.

Adapter bracket designed to mount a low cost auto tachometer to the side of an custom dashboard. The stock mount was intended to mount to a steering column so an adapter was needed to mount flush and tilt the tachometer at an angle to be seen easily from the new position while driving.
