Officer Kleinhans helped the Redwoods Police Academy cadets today by dressing in the red man suit. This is a training excercise to help overcome a resistant subject. Thank you Officer Kleinhans for being available to our local law enforcement community.

The Yurok Police Department is growing our force to serve the community, with better coverage and continued outreach across the region. Many of our cadets currently attending the College of the Redwoods Law Enforcement Training Center, and we'll introduce them to you as they prepare to serve in the coming months. - Shan Thacker lives in Arcata and is an avid martial artist. In fact, she was recruited to the force from a Taekwando class! Shan thinks Klamath is beautiful and is... looking forward to spending time in the community. We look forward to Cadet Thacker joining the force.
