New office on Grand Avenue, Oakland is ready now. If you use 580, get off at Grand Avenue. It is about 2 blocks from 7 Eleven and Mobil gas station, 3637 Grand Avenue Suite G. Street parking, but "Valle Vista Avenue" is easier to park and it is just behind the building. I like Grand Avenue, it is cute and plenty of nice shops. See you in Oakland on Saturday. ... What We Treat Allergies and asthma Infertility, irregular menstruation Depression, anxiety Arthritis Lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, leg pain Cancer pain Constipation, diarrhea Stress, fatigue Headache, migraine Neuralgia High blood pressure Skin issues Treatment Methods Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, Chinese Medications The acupuncturist will evaluate which method (or methods) would be best for you Possible side effects that may require additional monitoring 1.Reactions Various secondary symptoms may temporarily appear after treatment. Those symptoms, which are called "Men-gen" in Chinese Medicine, are considered positive effects; therefore, no cause for concern. Symptoms should abate as time passes. 2.Treatment effects and frequencies The earlier an acupuncture treatment is performed, the more successful the treatment. Severe symptoms may be alleviated by one session, but chronic symptoms may require an extensive treatment plan. Receiving one treatment per day is usually the most effective, but that depends on the symptoms. Sometimes one or two treatment sessions per week may be sufficient. Our acupuncturist will develop a customized plan for the most optimal treatment regimen. 3.Improve your overall health and well-being Taking care of yourself is a very essential component in any type of treatment. In addition to the acupuncture treatments, we recommend the following to avoid relapse in symptoms: -Get enough sleep (7+ hours a day) -Do not drink alcohol -Eat a balanced diet -Take time out of your day to relax 4.Bathing You can shower and bathe normally unless specific advice is given. 5.Lasty Advices may be given as the need arises, but the most important thing is your mental attitude. Acupuncture treatment works for not only diseases but also the improvement of the body's constitution, and treats the root cause of the illness going beyond the obvious symptoms. Treatment sessions on the regular basis can prevent contracting most illnesses, improve your physical strength, and can lead to an overall sense of wellness and an enhancement to one's quality of life.
