Join the Friends of the Yreka Library and celebrate the end of their Summer Reading Program with a magic show from local magician Delbert Lee! The Friends will ...be hosting Delbert Lee on Saturday October 24th at 11 am under a canopy in the library's parking lot. The drawing will also be held that day for the raffle baskets fro the summer reading program, so show up for a fun morning of magic, refreshments, and prizes!

Isn't this incredible? For more than fifty years, farmer Robin Upton has created squash-murals on his smallholding in England. The artwork is made of over 600 fruit, about 100 different varieties, and is a much loved local tradition

This Saturday, October 10th, join the Friends of the Yreka Library from 11 am to 12 pm for a free Reptile and Amphibians show presented by John Jackson's Bugs R... Us. The even will be held outside in the parking lot, under a canopy, and will feature free refreshments and a free drawing for prizes! When it rains or snow melts, water enters the storm sewers and is dumped into our rivers, carrying litter, oil, grease, pe...sticides, herbicides, bacteria, and other contaminants straight into the waterways.
