As the Prophet (S) has described this time as the time of true Fitna (trials and tribulations), we need to prepare ourselves for these events that will undoubtedly unfold. We will learn about the 10 major signs of the Day of Judgment and also discuss some minor signs that are relevant for us to understand the unfolding of the major signs. Our purpose of gaining this knowledge as a community is to learn lessons on how to best prepare ourselves for a time that we all know is inevitable.

Salaam alaikum, We're so happy to have been able to host our respected teacher and leader, Br Abdelmalik Ali, these past weeks as he high lighted main events, gave us historical insight, and connected seemingly separate instances in our reading of the Autobiography of Malcolm X as told to Alex Haley. We've learned, reflected, and grown through this book, its relevance has not faded and anyone looking to understand the black struggle in our country should read it. It is likel...y you'll come away from the experience "feeling like you know Malcolm", reading about his life will expose you to the whole range of human experiences, and Inshallah our group members have benefited and gained wisdom from this weekly program. We're only just getting started iA. The book club will take a two-week hiatus and when we return Inshallah we'll have a new book and we hope to see new faces joining us! See more
