This week Michael rescued a young Screech Owl in our yard, the little guy is so cute! Feathers appear when angels are near. I wrote a little story about it on my blog Ramblin' Rows https://jomoonbear.blogspot.com/2016/05/feathers.html Angels and feathers come in many forms!

Cat Lady Quilt ~ How cute is this! Made by Pam B, love the Cotton + Steel fabrics Pam put together with the addition of the fabric she choose for the backing, purrfect combo! Pattern is by Sarah Watts for Cotton + Steel. You can see this one at Honey Run Quilters along with the pattern and fabric collection in different colorways :0) Kelly's House quilt is up at the store as well! Quilted with Mid-Century Modern only in the background, the cats are outlined plus I added a little wool batting for a trapunto effect for the balls of yarn as well as the cat's sweet embroidered faces. The studio will remain closed today as well. Michael is doing great and making good progress. I have three engagements today to take care of my own well being :0) Altho I have fallen behind schedule, there are quilts ready to be picked up. The studio will be open tomorrow and the remainder of the week will be available for appointments. Thank you to all of my customers, you are the best! Bear hugs, Jo

Michael is doing really well, no pain meds today, is eating small amounts of no fat no spice no fun foods. We take short walks, Michael is using Mom's walker until he is a little steadier on his feet (Very sexy! ;) Not! *=)) however, there is some entertainment value! btw, pic is not of Michael, he's from Texas, you would never find him anywhere near snow! Seriously, great news, especially following our concerns post op yesterday. wahoo! Love & hugs, Jo

A few hiccups and delays which created a very long day that ended well, yea :0) Michael is resting comfortably at home now. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes today, very much appreciated! ((((BIG bear hugs)))), Jo Update Saturday morning ~ Micheal is doing great after a good night's sleep. We walked outside a little this morning.
