Until they became so familiar, they replaced the other things in my mind that I’d battled against. There’s nothing magical about words and verses, but there is power through them because they’re God’s words. Change happened. Anxious thoughts began to diminish. Worry let go of its constant grip. And though fear is sometimes still there, it no longer wields control, ho...lding me back, paralyzing me in its grasp. His words are life words, soothing to our soul, calming to our spirits, giving power to our days. It’s not always easy, and it often comes down to a choice: Choosing not to allow fear and anxiety to control your life. Choosing to guard your heart. Choosing to focus your mind on what is true in the midst of uncertain times. We might still feel afraid, but we can believe that God is with us. We may not be in control, but we can trust the One who is. We may not know the future, but we can know the God who does. See more

Milestone for the book but I need work. I fall short daily. I am human and trying my best to be best version of what God wants. www.yourcrosses.com When God says, There is none who does good, no, not one (Romans 3:12), He is not saying that there is no good in humans in general. We all know some peopleeven nonbelieverswho have done some commendable things. God is saying that there is no good in us that can satisfy God. When the Bible says, There is none righteous (vers...e 10), it is not speaking so much of behavior, but of inner character. God’s standards are high, to say the least: you must be absolutely faithful to his commmands.

God is in control! Anytime we are faced with widespread suffering, the first question that always comes up is Where is God in all of this? The good news is that the answer remains that God is where He always has been, on His throne, and in complete control. At first, this can seem disheartening. Covid? Christ Our Victory Is Divine all things work for the greater good. God is unhappy with this world and it’s leaders who take his laws and beliefs and try to rid them from this earth. He will bring the darkness before the light. Brace for the impact for this change will bring divine direction for what is good and holy. I’ve had people tell me they prayed and believed God but that nothing happened. These scriptures promise otherwise. So, who’s right? I choose to believe God is true. The key is, we have to seek with ALL our hearts. That’s the missing element. We have to reach a point where we won’t live with anything less than God’s best.
