Join us for the final day of the Democratic National Committee Convention!

Young Democrats of Stanislaus County 02.11.2020

Join Labor leaders, Democratic activists, and concerned community members for a virtual training from the Central Valley Schools and Communities First Coalition. We will be learning more about Prop 15 on how this will make California corporations pay their fair share while bringing over $447 million to the Central Valley, why we need to vote yes for it, and how do we win in November! Register to attend today at 6pm at nvlf.org/yeson15

Due to Stanislaus County government officials' lack of leadership in informing and enforcing face-covering/social distancing practices/COVID testing, we have seen a spike in confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths. The State of California has now stepped in to indefinitely close all indoor operations, including restaurants, wineries, family entertainment centers, zoos, museums, and movie theatres. Communities of Color and low-income families are being forced to risk their health... and safety to make ends meet and be the band aid to our hemorrhaging local economy during this time of crisis. Business owners are having to make tough decisions on if it's worth the risk to enforce physical distancing policies or allow customers to make their own choice just to keep their doors open. We must do our part to keep our communities safe! We need to pressure businesses/organizations to enforce face-covering/physical distancing practices. We need to educate our communities about the risks of not taking precautions. We must share resources to benefit others’ health, their businesses, where to get tested, and provide that peace of mind for our community. We must do our part and keep the community we love protected during these challenging times. We must do better. #covid19 #stanislauscounty #keepstanislauscountysafe Click the link to sign our petition and more https://linktr.ee/CovidTurlock. Response from City of Ceres Mayor Chris Vierra when asked about his endorsement for Ted Howze, I don’t speak for the city and my endorsement doesn’t hold all of that weight. Yes you do and yes it does.

Join the Ceres City Council Meeting now to ask Mayor Chris Vierra why he hasn’t denounced racism nor removed his endorsement from Ted Howze. You can also send a public comment to cityclerk.ci.ceres.us
