Below is a message from our Superintendent,It is with great sadness that I announce the closure of school sites to all students as of Wednesday, December 16th. The district is not being forced to close at this time; however, in consultation with the Merced County Department of Public Health, we are choosing to close at this time due to a reduction in student enrollment and staffing issues impacted by the deep purple status of Merced County. MUHSD will be following CDC guidelines regarding travel outside of the United States. Students who travel out of the country will be required to quarantine upon return to the United States for a minimum of 7 days. If students get a Covid test 3-5 days after returning to the United States, they will be allowed to return to school on the 8th day if their results are negative.
