Congratulations to all!

Helping Smile Makers (counsel on aging) yesterday. We wrapped 300 blankets for seniors, handmade cards were included in each package along with other goodies to bring smiles to the recipients' hearts. They are delivered to a local assisted living or care facility who might not otherwise receive a holiday gift.

Deck the Doors Deck the Stores Holiday Decorating Contest Our members are excited to share the holiday spirit with you by hosting our first annual Deck the Door Holiday Decorating Contest. All residents of Yorba Linda are encouraged to join in the fun. Be creative have some fun and help raise money for the Clubs college scholarships. Encourage your friends and neighbors to join in on the fun. ... We have partnered with the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce with their Deck the Store Decorating Contest for Yorba Linda businesses. This competition will surely create a wonderful holiday spirit for the entire community and our local businesses. Categories are Traditional, Best in lighting, Religious, and Humor. The Chamber has been gracious in hosting the Contest. Attached you will find the links for registration, rules, dates, and further details. Garden of Innocence will be having a Memorial service today. Our Sew Kind Sewing Group works on charitable projects and this special one is Garden of Innocence. The group made 181 burial blankets and will be delivered by Mayor TemGene Hernandez. You’ll understand the reason why the Sew Kind ladies had to be involved. See the flyer attached. Due to Covid our members will not attend but hope to attend services soon. We witch you a Happy Halloween and a bootiful Fall Season! Don't miss the Blue moon tonight! Here are some fun facts. While the moon won't actually look blue, a blue moon refers to the second of two full moons occurring in the same month, which happens once every 2.5 to three years, or "once in a blue moon." A full moon appears on Halloween roughly every 19 years and daylight saving time to boot. Tack it up to 2020 for one more rare feat.

YLWC's President, Susie Autry, and Director of Finance, Dottie Jensen, delivered several boxes of dish sets to Patriots and Paws as a means to raise funds. Founder, Penny Lambright, and volunteers gladly accepted our dishes. In fact, they were displaying them on their shelves for distribution that afternoon! https://www.patriotsandpaws.org

Enjoying a night with members of the club for the September Socialite Dinner. Great food at the Post Pub. Doing our part to support local restaurants. It was a beautiful night shared with some of ladies and lots of laughter.
