Woodbridge Road and Staten Island are again the place to see Sandhill Cranes. They spend their winter here and other sites in the central valley. Worth going many time during the months between October and late February. Two subspecies are viewable, Greater and Lesser. A group from birding group of 8 ladies from University Farm Circle were delighted to arrive with sunup to see them dancing and jumping.
