A perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg decorates your homemade ramen to another level , and they are very easy to make. Why not give it a try? Ingredients: Eggs as much as you want to cook Water in a pot to cover the layers of your egg... Vinegar Instructions: 1) remove eggs from a refrigerator and bring them to room temperature. 1) fill a large pot with water that covers all of your eggs. 2) bring the pot of water to a boil over medium-high heat. 3) once the water returns to a gentle boil, pour a bit of vinegar. It will help you peel the egg shell easily. 4) lower the eggs into the boiling water gently. 5) boil it for 6 mins to 10 mins, depends on how hard you want to make it. If you are marinating the soft boiled egg in sweet soy sauce marinade, 6-7 min should be good. Marinating hardens the egg yolk from the salt in the soy sauce. 6) prepare a bowl of ice-cold water for cooling the boiled eggs. 7) when you hear a timer goes off, remove the eggs from the pan slowly and put them into the ice-cold bath. If possible, keep the water cold by running water. Please wait until the eggshells to cool down. 8) use a spoon to crack the eggshells. Please keep it in mind, the white and yolks are very fragile. Your golden ramen egg is ready to dive into your ramen bowl! Wait, not yet? Do you want to know the marinade recipe for the eggs? Of Course! We offer two types of udon at Yamachan! Sanuki-type udon, which is the common noodles you see nationwide. They're thick, chewy, with a "fluffy" bite to them! Our other one is inaniwa udon, a flat long udon that is surprisingly chewy, and easy to slurp! Men tsuyu is the most common soup base to pair with udon, but you can combine different styles for your own likings!
