We at World of Diving wish you all a Happy 2019. This was taken by Susan at Misool Resort in Raja Ampat. She didn’t use any lighting because pygmy seahorses do not have any eyelids & can not protect themselves against it. Several resorts are now pushing to minimize the use of flashes & ban video lights when photographing them. If they are harassed too much by light they will attempt to jump off their home gorgonian & chances are extremely high they will die as they are terrible swimmers.
