As of today Saturday December 5, 2020, three hundred seventeen (317) Tulare county residents have died from the Coronavirus! This is the first time that we have not lit luminaries since early April. We ran out of supplies but we should be able to restart next Saturday! This video was taken on December 28th. Remember that each luminary represents an individual who has passed.

This mocking bird serenades Olga and I every time we visit the fig trees. Today we had a bird song competition. He whipped me. He's always a welcoming sight and sound. Long live this beautiful being!
Thank you Jose and Emanuel!
Saturday October 10, 2020. Corona Virus 19 has taken the lives of 269 Tulare County residents. Eventhough there has been a slight decline in deaths over the last two weeks we must stay the course with social distancing and wearing masks diligently. Each luminary in this video represents a brother, sister, uncle, aunt, daughter, son, grandmother, grandfather that has been lost to Covid-19.

Thank you to our Woodlake Pride volunteers. This past Saturday they planted more than 3000 fall vegetable plants, including broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale and onions. Two weeks ago we planted pak choy, lettuce and Napa cabbage. Thank you, Jasmine, Dominga, Maria, Lupe, Lorena, Olga, Alejandro, Noe, and Felipe! In the absence of our youth volunteers, (due to Covid-19) we sincerely appreciate your help.
