In recent studies, the Women's Foundation of Arkansas had found that the highest concentrations of women-owned businesses in Arkansas were in the most economically stressed parts of the state. When COVID-19 hit, they moved swiftly to support those business by distributing $80k in grants in just six weeks. On November 1st, Chester County Fund for Women and Girls unveiled the Women’s Suffrage Mural in West Chester, PA. The mural honors the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted many women the right to vote, and celebrates the suffrage movement of the past, present and future.
