Student Pilot Journey: Last year John Michael was the recipient of our Young Pilot Scholarship. With his scholarship award he was able to further his training, and with much determination he earned his Private Pilot’s license at the age of 17. This year he graduated high school and will soon attend college. His plans include studying to become a certified A&P mechanic while he continues his journey to becoming an air transport pilot! New Classes with our instructor, Erica, at Wings and Rotors Academy start August 5th! Erica is an experienced educator excited to offer her expertise in ELA and science. She’ll be guiding students in a 4 week long group read of the Scholastic I Survived chapter book series complete with teacher guided comprehension and project based learning. This Memorial Day Wings and Rotors Academy honors our service men and women. The missing man formation is an aerial salute that honors a fallen warrior. Today we honor and remember their sacrifice. All gave some, some gave all.

NASA’s mission to Mars is the new space race! In this class students engineered mini Mars Rover prototypes while learning the difference between potential and kinetic energy.
