Windsong collaborated with BBC Storyworks to produce, direct & edit a mini-doc about San Francisco fintech company Plastiq. * Shot on location in San Francisco one week prior to the shutdown. *

Many months of pre-production, location scouts, auditions, rehearsals, five days of filming on-location, early morning call times, a talented cast of dancers, community members, and crew all came together to create this piece for the City of Ontario. -------------------------------------------------- What really makes a city?... It’s the people, the invisible connections that they form. It’s personal growth. Cultivation. Fun. Love. One thing that is true is that we are all connected. A fact that this pandemic has reminded us with stark clarity. This video was filmed earlier this year and was meant to be part of the City of Ontario’s annual State of the City back in March 2020. Unfortunately, the event had to be postponed but we are proud to share it with you now. Thank you to all of these incredible dancers and community members for the creative work put into this video. It is an artful reminder of the many stories we unfold each day.

Our friend Tilt Tyree passed away this weekend. He was a brilliant dude. One of the sweetest and funniest people we will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Our love goes out to his family and all who knew him. This is a commercial we filmed with him a few years ago. That kid-like-spirit he just naturally had as a person is reflected in his performance. It was so much fun directing him as Firetruck and we hope it brings you some joy today. Cheers, Tilt. You will be missed. <3

It takes incredible people to produce incredible things. We are honored at the opportunity to partner with the INCREDIBLE MUSD, and in just 5-weeks, produce this INCREDIBLE project. It took many long nights and weekends to get this to air, but we hope that what we’ve made will make you the students, families, and community of Madera proud. Thank you to the producers in-studio and at home, who worked countless hours putting this all together, the team filming on-loca...tion working 12+ hour days to capture great quality material, and our team of editors who were charged with making these films that the Class of 2020 so deserves, thank you! And the biggest thanks goes out to the MUSD Board, Todd Lile, and Babatunde Ilori for trusting us with your students’ stories. We are grateful and honored to be a part of this project.
