Our farmers have worked so hard to keep up with demand, and we’re happy to say that we currently have no waitlist for our CSA produce subscriptions! We harvest a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, citrus, and/or flowers every week for Wednesday deliveries. We are so excited to invite you to the farm for our Summer Farm School class! This introductory course teaches the fundamentals of regenerative sustainable farming and is appropriate for those of all experience levels, whether you already grow your own food and want to improve your practices, or just want to spend more time with the soil and are curious as to how food grows. Farming 101 is fully scalable and can be applied to container gardening (pots, hanging baskets, vertical gardens), backyards, building community gardens, all the way up to a small-scale working farm! Unincorporated County residents can purchase a rain barrel for as low as $25. All residents are eligible for the $35 rain barrel rebate from the Metropolitan Water District’s SoCal WaterSmart program allowing them to pay just $55 per rain barrel on up to 2 rain barrels per household. Order by January 24th for pick up in Bonita and by January 31st for pick up in Lakeside, or opt to pick up your barrel from Solana Center in Encinitas during business hours Thursday/Saturdays.

The Xerces Society anticipates a final total of less than 2,000 monarchs overwintering in California this year which is a significant decline from previous years. Our welcome to highway 1 has been quite a wild and beautiful ride. A route recommended for experienced cyclists is semi complete as we enter the Bay Area toda...y.
