The common one I hear. I didn’t like the way they were looking at me. . We need to do our part and show up to service. It’s a sacrifice but justice requires our commitment.

We asked the jury to find her innocent. Because that’s what she deserved. Probation Officer Maria Guerrero is a 1st generation Chicana who graduated from Cal-State and followed her passion to help young Latinas at the Juvenile Hall. She was assigned to work the PQ UNIT-Special Handling Unit because she dealt with female juveniles with compassion, respect and patience. She never had a single write up but was the victim of the Los Angeles District Attorneys Office Political policy to punish officers who had been involved with the use of pepper spray-even when internal reviews had found the use warranted. I’m am proud to have been chosen to represent her.

Trial started on 1/6 and a not guilty verdict came on 2/4.

With Richard Ceballos for Los Angeles District Attorney 2020 and my good buddy, the legendary attorney Miguel Garcia. In 2006 Richard put justice before a conviction and reported his belief that the officers were lying. He was subsequently reprimanded by the District Attorney's office. Los Angeles County deserves someone who is a leader and personifies integrity in office. This why I support Richard and you should as well. Time for a change.

Weds March 27th, 2019. Her prior attorney wanted her to plea to jailtime. Instead she hired me and went home after 2 months on the case. No short cuts, just hard work.

Monday March 25,2019. All in a days work. 8:30 am. Pasadena Courthouse - Dismissed. 10 am West Covina Courthouse - Dismissed. 1:30 pm. Civil Trial Settled. All results on the day set for trial.

After 4 years from arrest on a murder charge, 2 polygraphs which support his innocence , 3 recorded interviews a preliminary hearing with 3 experts and countless Attorney hours. Case dismissed 10 days before the start of trial. It’s a good day.
