Some have asked what we are doing to protect patients and employees at a Whitney Oaks. We have: 1. Restricted entrance to Essential Individuals. 2. Screen EVERY resident daily and EVERY Individual entering the facility through temperature checks and questionnaires. 3. We have one entry point for non-employees. 4. We have separated the hallways by keeping our fire doors closed. 5. We have several Air Filtration units in high traffic areas. 6. We direct extra clean...ing of the environment as well as personally. (Hand Washing). 7. We have daily coordination video conference calls providing the latest information that is constantly developing. Even with all these protections, we know Covid-19 is in the community, in the local hospitals, and recently entered local senior care facilities. At the moment we do NOT have any residents or staff members on precautions for suspected Virus. We strongly encourage staying at home when possible, practice social distancing, and follow the state and local authorities direction. We hope you are doing well and staying well!! Getting ready for our Carmichael Chamber of Commerce mixer tonight.

When I got here I was in pretty bad condition. The physical therapy department was excellent. Donna, Lexi, Steven were extremely helpful in my recovery. The nursing staff was very good also. Extremely focused on my needs and care. The entire team was very good. Tina the speech therapist was very helpful as well. My overall stay was very good. ~A note from one of our patients this week.

With an exciting year, Whitney Oaks has been able to provide thousands of dollars in charitable donations to the following local organizations in December of 2014: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Sutter Health Foundation, Mercy Foundation, Danny Oliver Memorial Fund, Michael Davis Memorial Fund, Bev's Angel Project, Meals-on-Wheels, Sacramento Ballet, Okizu, and Make-A-Wish. We hope with this assistance it will make a difference in the lives of our local community. Happy Holidays!
