A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ... I think we all aged an extra lifetime this past year. While we want it to be a long time ago and put it all forever in the past, it seems like we’re stuck in this stinkin’ time warp and we’re going round and round in some ugly COVID gravitational loop. Help me Yoda! During this crazy lockdown, my wife and I discovered Netflix and found out why so many people get hooked on binge watching shows. We went from Star Trek and Star War...s to the Expanse then back to The Mandalorian and finally finished off with Picard. I think we felt like we just wanted to be in a galaxy far far away. You might identify with us. The reality is that we can’t wait to get back enjoying company with our friends and family. This galactic isolation is for the birds. We miss birthdays, weddings, gathering, concerts and ballgames. Regular life. So, while 2020 may have aged us all a bit faster, listen to Master Yoda when he says: When nine hundred years old you reach, look as good you will not. Sometimes a little lighthearted humor is what helps us get through it all. While 2020 didn’t last 900 years, it sure felt like it. Looking forward to laughing with my friends again very shortly.
