Last chance to get a comment letter into the California State Water Board before next week's meeting! Interested persons must submit written comments by 12:00 ...p.m. on April 1, 2021. We still know it's possible to restore the Salton Sea, keep the dust down and provide water resources for future generations by adding water from the ocean. Imagine how beautiful green and blue this place will be! We can finish the Coyote Canal. We support finishing the projects of the 10-Year plan and importing water to the valley for a sustainable future (with enough water!) WEST SHORES ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO IMPERIAL COUNTY SUPERVISORS MEETINGS: The Advisory committee will meet on Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Sr. Center at 6:00 p....m. No speakers are scheduled so the entire meeting can be devoted to community residents. We hope to have the meeting outdoors so that as many people who want to attend this meeting will be able to do so. Because of covid, indoor seating is limited. The Sr. Center is limited to 18 which includes the board members but maybe we can get 20 seated indoors. Please check the weather report for Dec. 7th. If by any chance the temperature will be mild enough to be outdoors, bring what you need to be comfortable. No Alcohol, Please. The January 4, 2021 Advisory meeting is cancelled due to the New Year weekend celebrations. Meetings will resume again on February 1, 2021. See more

AN ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO IMPERIAL COUNTY SUPERVISORS ANNOUNCEMENT; In these days of the covid, we are blazing new trails. We found out that we could not let any...more than 18 people inside the Sr. Center. So with Supervisor Ryan Kelley's suggested solution, our Advisory Committee will hold the scheduled, Monday. November 2nd meeting outdoors of the Sr. Center Building. There will be a chair for everyone (spaced 6') apart. All else remains the same as in our first announcement to you, including the three scheduled speakers who will be at this outdoors meeting. Everybody attending the Nov. 2nd. meeting, please be sure to check the weather report and bring whatever you need to be comfortable....jacket, blanket, hot chocolate, popcorn.
