It's #NationalWorkfromHomeDay and while it hardly seems worthy of a day anymore, we want to use the occasion to say a very special THANK YOU to our staff who have managed to adapt to the many challenges and adjustments of the last 15 months while keeping our operations going.

Meet Robin Mills! This is her 23rd year as a Swim A Miler. For the past 6 years, she has mostly working in Japan the weekend of the Swim A Mile. So she has done the mile on her own (a few times in a pool in Japan!) or has dedicated one of her coached workouts with the Manatee Aquatic Masters team to her Swim. Robin has always been an active person she grew up hiking in the mountains and for many years was a modern dancer. She started masters swimming in her late 20s. She ...can’t imagine NOT working out. It is often what gets her out of bed and going in the morning. Robin loves being part of this huge fundraiser for a great organization. She said, WCRC provides such important services for the community. I had thyroid cancer several years back and had an opportunity to use some of the resources at WCRC, so I saw firsthand. And unfortunately cancer is pervasive and there is and always will be a need for the services and support that WCRC offers. I am happy to do my small part to help. #WCRC #SwimAMile25 #SwimAMile
