Hello all! It's been quite a while since we last sent out a message to the group. Things are still in limbo here in California and trying to plan any type of event is pretty tough. Municipalities are not issuing any type of permits and you are lucky if you can speak to somebody. That being said, we know many of you have been training on your own or very small groups and we would like to offer a Virtual Race for you to post your best time and compare to others that are out on ...the water (Hopefully "Safely". There is no fee for this race and Webscorer has allowed us to use their timing software to make this very simple. Simply register for the event and before May 25th, send in your time to the registration page and fill out your "times". We say times, as there are 3 course options. 1 Mile, 5 mile and 10 mile. You can do your own time trial on any day and break them up, your choice. We're opening this up world wide, so it will be interesting to see the different entries. We wish we could put on a "live" race, but figure this is a great way to ease our way back into some sort of normalcy. We have restricted the divisions to only singles but have multiple craft divisions, so everybody can be included. Please share this link with all your paddling friends!
