This year, we return to save more lives! Our partner in Guatemala, Hope of Life, has 4 scouts who search all over the mountains of Guatemala, poking their heads into the tiny homes, looking for babies and small children that are malnourished, caused by bacteria in the water, and sadly close to death. There are tens of thousands of these families trying to survive each day in these mountains and they have no way to get their babies to Guatemala City to get help. ... When the scouts find a baby that desperately needs help, they take them with their mothers to HOL's facilities to try to help save their lives. Unfortunately they are too late many times. With our Baby Rescue Project, as the scouts go to each home, they give the family one of our life saving water filters and a bucket, so they can now drink safe, clean water. Hello caring friends...Just 5 days ago, 50 families in a community in Guatemala through our new amazing partner www.freedomthroughfriendship.org gave 50 families the water filters/buckets so they could have safe water to drink. Then one day later, they were hit by a powerful flood that wiped out 12 family homes and swept away one entire family in their home...so very heart breaking!! Thank God they still have the filters/buckets so they have safe water to drink each day while they slowly rebuild their homes and lives. Please help us give more families safe water to drink. We just sent 75 filters to our newest partner Sister Maureen in Migwani, Kenya. The village majorly depends on dam water which takes over an hour of walking to find. The water is not clean and exposes entire families to waterborne diseases and health issues for over 250 children and other family members in the community.... They are all drinking clean water now

A dream come true for this village! Our drill system is designed to drill more than 100 wells over the next few years. Each well will provide safe water to at least 300 children and 200 other family members, up to over 1,000 people in some cases.
