I’m a simple man. I want things uncomplicated, and I want to mind my own business. No desire to hurt anyone in the world, but I want to be able to defend myself and my loved ones. I pray to God everyday that I never have to use this, but I thank God that I live in a place where I have the right to use it to defend myself and my loved ones if need be.

I am now officially Florida man.

Getting my life juice today. Remicade has changed my life for the better. I need to get these every eight weeks to stave off the symptoms of ulcerative colitis. I was resistant to it for a long time, but doing this is far better than allowing myself to fall apart with a flare up. ... Sometimes we let things go too far out of false pride and pure stubbornness. You can’t fulfill your mission in life if you’re allowing things to fall apart. If something’s wrong, fix it. And realize that there will be many times when you just can’t do it on your own.

@teamrubicon sent me a go bag to help raise awareness about the great work they’re doing. A group of veterans and others stepping up to help others in need in the wake of disaster.
