From Beverly: To all, After 22 years as the Film Commissioner at the Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office, the time has come to announce my retirement from Placer Co...unty. This was not an easy decision as I have always loved this job and a big part of that was due to the pleasure of working with the many accomplished professionals like you in the media industry. I sincerely thank each one of you I have had the opportunity to work with and come to know and come to know over the years. While the entertainment industry is in the throes of a slow recovery due the pandemic, the show must go on, and it will - with dedicated folks like you! Retirement affords me the opportunity to spend more time with my family and focus on other things that I’ve been anxious to do. My last day in the office is Thursday, Nov 19. Juli Johnston, my very capable part-time assistant of 16 years, will be fielding calls and issuing permits until the county decides their next course of action. To ensure continuity for our office in the future please use the following contact information for future correspondence: [email protected] [email protected] May 2021 find us all in a safer and kinder place in both our professional and in our personal lives! Wishing you all the best, Beverly Lewis
