Woohoo! The September 10th Waves of Valor was so much fun! Too bad the summer is over but there is always next year. The guy in the green rash guard is Ronny, he is an Army veteran that lives in the greater LA area. It was blast teaching him how to surf but most of all, it was great just getting to know a fellow brother-in-arms. Thanks to Chris Merkle and Team RWB for putting this event together. You have not only enriched the lives of the participating veterans from the Long Beach Hospital but have also enriched the lives of many others along the way.

If you are a women veteran, this is a great opportunity to connect with other veterans. See below for details.

Today we stand with our fellow countrymen and women in honoring the memory of those whose lives were taken on 9/11/2001, as well as those who have given their lives since, in the defense of freedom. This morning we gathered in the campus mall to share a moment of silence with those all across America. Lined with flags, students, staff, and Veterans came together to hear the words of SVO President Jonathan Mccarthy, and join in prayer for our country past, present, and future. Never forget 9/11/2016

Last month’s mixer at JT Schmid’s sold out, so we figured if it ain’t broke, why fix it? Let’s do it again: come join a group of fellow veterans in business in the Orange County-Greater LA area at JT Schmid's at the District in Tustin. Make some new connections, compare notes, share some stories, all while helping the VBN continue to expand our network of vets in business helping other vets. See you in Tustin on the 22nd! ... The VBN is a shared effort among a group of successful local vets in business committed to connecting vets to other vets and extending the benefits and bonds of service that only veterans share. See you at JT Schmid's on September 22nd!
