The mission of the Infectious Diseases and Vaccinology Program is to create opportunities for students to gain new and advanced knowledge about infectious disease agents and how they interact with host cells, human populations, and the environment. Students learn how to design and implement independent investigations using interdisciplinary approaches. The goal is to promote public health through better understanding of infectious diseases and human immunology based on inter...action of basic and translational research that contributes to the development of new diagnostics, treatment, prevention, and control of human infectious diseases. UCB IDV provides superior graduate training, continuing education, research and service to students, scholars, collaborators and community. The program has over alumni across the country and around the world. The purpose of the IDV facebook page is to provide a platform for all IDV current and future affiliates to share information, update news and stay in contact. The information on the page will be updated periodically, please visit us. And contributions to photo and contents are welcome. Please send to [email protected]
