HOPE IS HERE FOR A NEW NORMAL! It’s a New Year and a new beginning. I am honored to have gotten the Moderna vaccine at the end of December, bringing me into the new year vaccinated against COVID-19. I was able to receive the vaccine since I am a LA County Lifeguard, working among the public as a first responder. ... The process was incredibly easy and extremely well organized. I had side effects from the vaccine: an extremely sore arm, a good amount of fatigue and muscle soreness. The fatigue and muscle ache only lasted for a night, with the sore arm for about two days. There have been no ill-effects for me after four days. If you are able to get the vaccine, please take it. The herd immunity we create by all being vaccinated will allow us to get our lives back to normal, open our businesses, schools, arts, sports and cultural venues and institutions, and save lives. If you have any questions on the vaccine, please send them my way.
