Congratulations to Reed Orren (https://www.facebook.com/reed.orren), who completed his first solo flight at Ramona airport (KRNM) in AFAC's Garmin GPS equipped Cessna 172 N216AF last Thursday 10/22/2020! His AFAC CFI is Charles Stoudenmire. He plans to continue training to earn his Private Pilot license.

Congratulations to Tristan Grieme, who completed his first solo flight in AFAC's Piper Archer II N119AV yesterday, Monday, 10/5/2020! His AFAC CFI is Dave Billings. He plans to continue training, progressing to become a Commercial Pilot.

Huge congratulations to Julius Velasquez https://www.facebook.com/juliusvelasquezthefirst, who is now the proud holder of a Private Pilot Certificate (license)! He successfully completed his practical test (check-ride) at Montgomery Field KMYF yesterday - Friday, 10/2/2020, flying with DPE Greg Madriaga in C-172 N215AF. His AFAC CFI is Ray Lemque. He had soloed with us this past July in the same aircraft, and plans to continue ROTC studies, seeking selection for military pilot training.
