Since 1894, Labor Day has been a national holiday that acknowledges and pays tribute to the workforce for all that they have done to make our country prosperous and strong. A very Safe and Happy Labor Day to all of you who do your part to make our country prosperous and strong!

It’s finally that bittersweet time of year when we’ve come to our last Sizzling Summer Friday Lunch. The great news is, though, it’s a really tasty one! Come feast on Tri-Tip Sandwiches, Macaroni & Cheese, Country Potato Salad and a Drink. Your $5 donation will benefit Sierra Madre School. Lunch is courtesy of Stater Bros. Markets and, as always, the El Monte/South El Monte Chamber of Commerce. We look forward to seeing you FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, for a lunch that not only TASTES GOOD, but also DOES GOOD!
