Come on out and celebrate Labor Day weekend with a glass, or bottle of our tasty wine on our patio surrounded by vineyard and apple trees. Weather looks pretty toasty, but we have plenty of shade & chilled & refreshing white wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose and apple wines).Of course we have plenty of amazing red varietals as well. We are still following all social distancing and sanitation guidelines/protocol. What better way to spend a safe & relaxing day than in t...he back country sipping wine outdoors! Feel free to bring a picnic. New extended hours are: Friday’s-Sunday’s, 11-5.
Picked up and processed 3 tons San Diego County Chardonnay today!
Apple picking today, for our Apple wines!
Crushed 3 tons McCormick Ranch Merlot today! Nice fruit from Pauma Valley!
Harvest 2020 is on! 3 tons of Old Vine Zinfandel from Lopez Ranch in the Cucamonga Valley! Head trained, dry farmed vines planted in 1917. Always a long day but so worth it!
Come on up and get a glass or bottle of our delicious wine. We have almost 10 acres of scenic property so there is plenty of space for social distancing. Feel free to bring a picnic. Current hours are Friday-Sunday, 11-5.
Just to clear up any confusion. We are still OPEN. Friday-Sunday, 11-5. Come on out and spend an afternoon enjoying delicious wine in the beautiful backcountry.
We will be open on the 4th of July from noon-4ish. Come on up and enjoy our awesome expanded safe & scenic seating area with a delicious glass, or bottle of wine. Feel free to bring a picnic and just sip & relax! Cheers!
The county has amended their closure order to allow outside table service at wineries. We will be open this weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have plenty of outside tables where you can enjoy glasses and bottles of wine! Yea! Please bear with us during these difficult time! Volcan Mountain Winery
We will be closed until further notice, stay safe everyone! The Volcan Mountain Winery Family https://www.cbs8.com//509-cc36e006-d23b-4ac9-b68f-ddfde762
We have reopened with all the necessary precautions. Come get a glass, or a bottle & sip and relax on our spacious patio or out in our beautiful orchard. Current hours are Friday-Sunday 11-5. Hope to see you soon!
We are re-opening! To all of our loyal friends, customers and wine club members. We’d like to thank all of you for your continued support during these last few difficult months. So many of you purchased wine and stayed with us, even in these economically difficult times. Without your continued support we likely might not have survived this, so from the Volcan Mountain Winery Family, so many thanks! The County of San Diego and the State of California have allowed wineries to o...pen back up with some restrictions beginning last weekend. We’ve reviewed the requirements and we will be open for limited tastings, glasses and bottle sales for consumption on site beginning this Saturday the 20th. Obviously there are some changes you can all expect to encounter when visiting. Hours of operation; Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00-5:00, until further notice. Masks and face coverings; per San Diego County guidelines, all staff and visitors will be required to wear a face covering on the property unless seated for tasting or eating. Sanitation; we will be adhering to all sanitation requirements as required by the state and county. Appointments; although suggested in the health and safety guidelines we will not require a reservation to visit. Please plan on waiting a bit when we are busy for service. Seated tasting; everyone who visits will be assigned a table or a place to sit and consume wine, no wine will be served in the tasting room (see below). Tasting room; for the time being we will close the tasting room for entry, we just do not have the physical space in the tasting room for people given the obvious health risks and the need to keep all of you, us, and our employees and families safe. All tasting and wine consumption will take place outside on our patio or elsewhere (in the orchard). Wine will be served on the front patio area. Limited seating; all tables and chairs have been placed the appropriate 6 feet from one another, please do not move chairs or tables when you visit. Feel free to bring your own folding chairs, there are many shaded areas in the orchard behind the tasting room for you to set up chairs and enjoy the day. Children and pets; many wineries are not allowing children and pets on their property during this difficult time. We realize that we are a backcountry family destination. We will allow you to bring leashed pets on property as well as children (no leash!), as long as they remain seated with their parents. Please no children running around. Picnics; feel free to bring food, as you often do, please however, realize we have limited space so don’t plan on staying for hours! We apologize if this sounds like no fun, it will be, trust us, come see us! The Volcan Mountain Winery Family
We are still selling wine at additional discounts & offering free shipping on 6 bottles or more through this Sunday.
