He is not only a big lover but he is a helper in many aspects of hooman life: Soccer team mascot, work out partner, Sunday football buddy, and much more He has heartworm treatment coming up and should be ready for adoption in Dec-Jan. WHEELS UP Jack & Lila (both SW CBRR&R alums), their 3 hens, and their Hoomans, Josh & Beverly, bid California good-bye. They are on the way to their new home and adventure on 10 glorious acres in beautiful Washington State. Josh & Beverly now enjoy dual CBRR&R citizenship (SW & NW). They are ready to get some goats, and we think Jack & Lila will serve as wonderful guard dogs. We asked Josh if the hens were quiet during in-flight service. ** SORROWFUL GOOD BYE TO SWEET LUG, CASH ** It's been tough for us to come up with the right words to express our immense sadness over the recent passing to the Rainbow Bridge by our sweet lug of a young man, and SW Alum, Cash. Each of our rescue CBR's are so special and Cash was certainly a bright shining star. He had a heart of gold and the personality to match; a true blue friend to everyone he met. Cash was loyal and loving to his first mommy, Andrea B, and to his wonder...ful rescue family, Brendan, Keri, their 2 young children, and senior lab, Woody. Like all our brown curly dogs, Cash began as a wittle pup. He grew into a BIG boy with a big heart and playful loving spirit. Cash's first mommy, Andrea entrusted CBRR&R when she felt that due to life changes and downsizing she could no longer give Cash the life he had enjoyed and that she felt he needed. It was so hard for Andrea to give her boy up but she did it in order for Cash to live his best life, as much as it tore at her heartstrings. CBRR&R went to work to find the perfect home for Cash where he would get tons of outdoor entertainment, belly rubs and cuddles. Cash found his home and heart in South Lake Tahoe with Brendan, Keri and family; there he enjoyed swims in the lake with the kiddos and Woody, beach time, and fly fishing with Dad, Brendan. Unfortunately sweet Cash did not have the gift of a long life and he was taken too soon due to bloat / gastric torsion. It is just not fair when something like this happens. It's tearing our hearts up. We thank Cash's mommy, Andrea, for trusting CBRR&R with her baby, and we thank Brendan and Keri for giving Cash the best life ever the last couple of years. He is missed so much. May Cash run free at the Rainbow Bridge, along with the sweet brown dogs we have loved while here on earth. He will live on in our hearts. (This one was very hard for me to write, it has taken me a month. He was very special and I am in tears...again.) This sweet puppy needs emergency surgery to live. He ate a corn cob. They are on the way to the vet now (Sat 9.26.20)! If everyone gives $3 or $5 or more, we can make a difference.
