On November 21st, our CEO, Sam Solakyan, will be joining business leaders across the nation in the Covenant House Sleep Out to raise awareness and support for youth living on America’s streets. For one night, these men and women will be sleeping on the hard concrete with nothing more than a cardboard box and a sleeping bag. Research has been ongoing for Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for years. It is fast becoming a very popular mode of treatment for patients with orthopedic injuries. It's a new procedure based on the idea of injecting people with their own blood. Centrifuging the blood to the extent that its mostly platelets that release subs...tances or growth factors that help repair tissues. The treatment is being extended to many uses like treating muscle sprains , tendon pulls and tears, arthritis, bone fractures , surgical wounds etc etc. It is being successfully used to enhance surgical outcomes in maxillofacial, cosmetic, spine, orthopedic & podiatric surgery. So far ultrasound studies before and after PRP has shown that tissue is healing. Vital is now participating in the study to help farther this research and show the healing tissue , pre & post PRP therapy via MR imaging and help answer , the unanswered. See more

reVITALization We have begun a massive remodel at our locations to include a whole new look and feel. We know that patients are seeking MRI's to diagnose the source of their discomfort. We want to provide a clean, comfortable and tranquil environment for our patients while they wait for their service. We are also making every effort to streamline the paperwork and minimalize wait time for patients by providing access to patient information forms on line. If your patients do n...ot have access to the internet, they can fill out those forms in our office on their appointment day. Doctors are welcome to provide those as well for the ease of their patients. The link to these forms can be found at our website www.Vitalimaging.com, click on the doctors and patients tab and scroll down to PDF for Patients. We will be sending out invites to our referral sources for open houses as soon as renovations are complete. We will also be happy to include anyone interested on our list for our upcoming lecture series presented by our very own Dr. Khan. For more information about events in your area, please send an email and be sure to include your geographic locale to me, Amee Gray and I will be sure you are included in the list for this informative series for you and your staff. Vital Imaging DoD Research Vital Imaging along with UCSD and the Navy Health Research Center have been conducting a study since 2011 to evaluate the effects of load bearing on the spine. The purpose of the study has been to gather preliminary data on how the assault pack can affect the spine of young Navy SEALs so alternate methods for the SEALs could be designed. The results of this study have now been submitted for publication. We are excited to announce that the success of... the preliminary study has led to a second grant from the Department of Defense (DoD). The grant is designated to further evaluate the "Lumbar Spine Musculoskeletal Physiology and Biomechanics during Simulated Military Operations." This is a 3 year grant that extends the previous work done with Vital Imaging and is currently set to start in September, 2013. Vital Imaging is proud to serve our men and women in uniform and is looking forward to participating in research that will improve their short and long term health issues. See more

Vital Imaging at CAAA's Winter 2013 Convention San Diego, CA As a proud sponsor of California Applicant Attorney Association's Winter 2013 Convention, the Vital Imaging staff had a blast this past January in San Diego! It was great to see so many familiar faces, connect with old friends and colleagues, as well as make some new acquaintances. Some of the booths really brought it this year-- especially Allied Medical Group and their delicious mochas! We want to thank the folk...s at CAAA, especially Isabel Pires, for all of their hard work in preparing such a great venue for us to promote ourselves and learn from all of the attendee's and exhibitors! We hope that you had a chance to attend the convention and were able to stop by the Vital Imaging booth and get a free massage. Be sure to pay us a visit this summer at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! Are you as excited as we are? back to top
