Passing along the message PLEASE get the word out! Every Tuesday and Thursday in June from 10-12 the Vista Office will be open to register future Kindergarteners!

This is Dr.McNeil and I wanted to let you know that tomorrow Tuesday, May 26th will be our last Grab and Go Meals for this school year. Meals will be available for pick up from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Needles High School Parking Lot and for HeadStart at Katie Hohstadt. CDS may pick up at either location. Chemehuevi Elementary School will also serve meals for all grade levels from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Seniors with textbooks and laptops may bring them to the high schoo...l tardy window tomorrow from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Tuesday. Also, any student with a band instrument is asked to turn them in to the NHS tardy window between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Information on high school graduation is available on our website and 8th grade promotion information during the week of June 1st will be posted early this week. Dear Parents, May 18, 2020 We are winding down our 2019-2020 school year. We appreciate your patience, understanding, flexibility, and helping your child accomplish all they did throughout this school year. With this in mind, we will not be assigning any more school work for the rest of the year. Use this last week to finish any workbook pages and online assignments that need to be completed. Please complete the reading STAR test. The following is a list of important dates t...o keep in mind: Monday, May 18- STAR testing- IF YOUR CHILD HAS NOT COMPLETED THE STAR TEST FOR 4TH QUARTER, THIS APPLIES TO YOU. IF YOUR STUDENT HAS COMPLETED THE STAR TEST, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOU. Encourage your child to complete this 35-question test by themselves. They can do this!!! This determines their reading level and how much they have improved this year. Please do not read anything to them. TOMORROW, Thursday, May 14th, additional devices and hotspots will be handed out to families with multiple students from 10:00 - 12:00 at Needles High School! Spring Pictures, Vista t-shirts, and Lucky Grams, if ordered, will also be handed out at this time.
