Good evening Waves Families! We Have few changes to practice this week and wanted to update you all. Please see below for changes Wednesday-Practice as normal... Thursday- Practice is canceled. This is due to conflict with pool scheduling. We apologize for the late notice. Friday-Normal Friday practice schedule First hour-all age groups Second hour-1-1, 20 minute swim instruction. This weeks stroke focus will be freestyle. Sign ups will be available at Wednesday’s practice at 7pm. Additional information We are sure you have noticed a few of the lane lines are not in the pool during practice. Please know this is not intentional. As with all equipment there is wear and tear, there are a few and lines that are in need of repair. Yes there are additional lane lines on the deck, however some are owned by other swim clubs and some are saved for competition. We are working with the city to find a resolution to this. As with every season there are bumps along the way and we always overcome them. Thank you for your patience with this matter. Go Waves!

Swim suit orders placed tonight will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Girls are running true to size, boys order 2-3 sizes smaller than previous years. We will have one more opportunity to place orders. If you are unsure of sizes, wait to order and try suits on at Monday’s practice.

Reminder, we have a parent meeting tonight at 6pm on the pool deck. We have suit orders in and will have suits for sizing available for the next round of orders. Please spread the word that we are now meeting on the EDHS pool deck, west stands. See you tonight!... Go Waves!!!

This Saturday is swim tryouts for new Waves swimmers. Tryouts are at Mt. Whitney High School and will begin at 10am. It is advised that you arrive early. What to expect... Swimmers will be handed a number upon arrival. Swimmers and parents will wait on the bleachers until their number is called. The swimmer number will be called and the swimmer will go with the evaluator and complete the swim requirements for their age group. Once your swimmer has passed you will be given a s...heet of paper identifying that they meet the minimum requirements. Please then come to the community center located at 345 N. Jacob street. Be sure to bring in your verification that your swimmer completed the swim assessment and register your swimmer for the Waves! After ALL of that, come and meet me (Breanne) and other board members, we will have a table set up. We will have some information on the season ahead for you and a few goodies for our new swimmers!!!
