Vintage Trailer Store

It's a very gratifying when we see one of our trailers that we've restored become the cover of the new 2021 calendar!!! As you see in the pictures we did extensive restoration on this little Winnebago trailer, it looked good on the outside until you pull the skins off of it because as you see we re skinned it after we repaired it and it was painted by Gongora's Auto Body in Pomona... In the pictures you'll also see the 1956 station wagon that's the tow vehicle!!! Lookin good Ken & Hazy God bless!!!!!

The 1951 cozy Cruiser is finally going home after four and a half years!!! It's a sad story but the owner of the trailer was hospitalized for a rare disease and we didn't hear from him after the trailer was completed and we've hung on to this trailer because we knew there was more going on behind the scenes and like I say there was he was hospitalized in ICU for three and a half months with a rare form of brain disease which ultimately Against All Odds he recovered and it's taken him a little while to get back on his feet but he's going to get to finally enjoy it... This was a complete frame-up restoration and we had to do a lot of research on this and call a lot of people and talk to them to get measurements because when we got this trailer it was gutted! Well it's been a while since we posted on here but we have a 1950 Crown trailer built by Al Rose (Dean Hanson) which is a knockoff of the Hanson design, Hanson love bug that is... it was brought to us so we could change the hinge and put in a screen door well it turns out that the door that they had built it's not square and you'll see in the pictures it's 20" at the top 19" at the bottom and it didn't fully open with the piano hinge that someone had installed but at the end ...of the day we were able to make it fully open with the piano hinge that they put in and we weren't able to install the other hinge that would receive the screen door because we would have had to knock out all of the molding around the door frame and it was just an extensive job and I was honest with the person that owns it and told him that I didn't want them to spend the money just to enjoy the trailer as is but we got the door to operate correctly :) ;) :) See more

1953 Hanson Love bug for sale!!! I'm listing this for a friend we did do work on it a couple of years back and he contacted me and wanted me to list it for sale for him it's a 14 footer and everything works it's ready to camp tonight!!! 13k OBO in my opinion the Hanson love bugs are the best trailers that were made in the 50s and the reason I'm saying this is because I've worked on many of them they have a 2X2 framing in them which makes them really strong... :) ;) :)

Well we got the panel truck done it runs and drives under its own power now and we added another car to the family!!! ;) ;) :) :) :) we also got the metal in from Tim Heintz for the shot up Shasta so we'll be starting on that again on Monday, Thank you Tim!!! We've been Gathering parts for Joey's aka (The Little BOSS)1957 Rainbow and we were finally able to locate a princess stove because it was missing and the seats!!! ;) The Little BOSS is no longer Little :) :) ;) He now going to be 17 and he wants this trailer so that he can start his own adventures in life ;) ;) :) :) so here pretty soon the Boyz will be back at it but it's going to be a family affair build ;) :) Thank you again Phil... A new addition to the FAMILY!!!... We now have a 1954 Rainbow 1956 Rainbow 1957 Rainbow and another 1957 Rainbow aka The BIG FISH Because its 22 feet Long!!!
