Tomorrow is gonna be lots of fun. We're all geared up for a great morning of learning a getting some rounds down range.

I am now able to teach long range center fire classes. Mike from Piru Gun Range gave me the thumbs up. It is all coming together quite nicely. If you are looking to transition from the rimfire to centerfire or if you just want to learn the basics on a larger caliber, let me know. I have a bolt action .223 available for training. It is the most forgiving of the center fire rounds.

Just a heads up, I will be having a grand opening event at a private range in Santa Paula in the next few weeks. Just have to finalize the details. As some of you know, my normal rate is $75 for an introductory 3 hour class. In the spirit of a 'grand opening', the price for the event will be $65 total for groups of 3. The plan is to meet at the range and have a quick safety brief and then go right into a 3 hour shooting session. We will spend time bench shooting, prone and se...ated/standing positions. The price of $65 includes targets, rounds and use of the firearms. You can bring your own if you like, but for this event there will be no tactical rifles. Also, no center fire rifles. Any caliber of handgun is fine. I am limited to about 15 shooters, you can sign up immediately. The groups of three can be made up of friends and family, minimum age is 8 years old. I have some pretty exciting news. I am making some arrangements with a private outdoor range to hold a Grand Opening! We will be having a 'Friends and Family Shoot' that day. It's gonna be very fun and informative. Details will be coming soon.
