We excited to announce the launch of our Growing AgriCultural Roots storytelling project. As we move through these peak growing months on the farm we are reflecting on this rich history of agriculture in San José Growing AgriCultural Roots (GAR) is a multi-phase, storytelling, and recognition project that will uncover and highlight the stories and early contributions of Asian immigrants to the agricultural industry in Santa Clara County. Our goal is to celebrate and acknowled...ge the histories and untold stories of underrepresented communities within the region. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are ramping our the amount of farm boxes we are distributing this week and we are looking for volunteers to help us pack farm boxes! Veggielution in partnership with Off the Grid, has been able to create the San José COVID Food Relief Program through the end of this year. Veggielution is working with Fresh Approach to Identify Local Farms, specifically BIPOC owned farms to supply organic fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and meats. For us, it is important to provide the highest quality of groceries that we can for those who need it the most in San José.
