I post this with a heavy heart. Yesterday we needed to say goodbye to a best friend. K-9 Dino who was 13 years old was ready to move on. Dino gave everything he had for Ventura County for a solid 10 years! A hero like him only comes around every so often! Dino not only worked as a Search and Rescue Human Remains Detection canine, but he also worked for 6 years on the TV Show "Big Brother", providing a safe environment as a narcotics detection canine! K-9 Dino provided mutual aid support on over 30 HRD cases with departments throughout Los Angeles County as well. His services will be missed! He will be missed! Thank you Dino for your tireless work effort, while bringing closure to many families throughout our state! Thank you for being my best friend and partner!
