We can't celebrate the same way that we have for 10 years, but it doesn't mean we can't celebrate at all. Team VA Long Beach has put together a special tribute to our Veterans, and we hope that it brings a smile to your face. Wherever you are, know that we honor and remember you --- today and every day. Looking for Veterans Day discounts and deals? VA has put together a growing list* of just that. You can find it here on the VAntage Blog: https://www.blogs.va.gov//803/veter...ans-day-2020-discounts/ *The sharing of any non-VA information does not constitute an endorsement of products and services on part of VA. Thank you Los Angeles Chargers for cheering up our Veterans during this pandemic with such a nice gift in remembrance of Veterans Day. Under normal circumstances, you would come for a visit, but given our current pandemic and no-visitor posture, we are glad you found a way to express your gratitude. Thank you for taking the opportunity to #remember and #honor our Vets.

THIS IS NOT A NORMAL FLU SEASON. This flu season, it is more important than EVER to look out for the health and safety of you, your loved ones, and the community we share. Studies from 2017 & 2018 have shown that flu vaccination reduces flu-related deaths, intensive care unit (ICU) admissions, and ... ICU length of stay. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have already seen many of our country’s hospitals reach capacity. The less resources spent on flu means the better equipped we are to take care of our Veterans with more critical needs. Flu season has just begun. This time, it’s not about any one of us. It’s about all of us. Show up and minimize the impact of COVID-19 and the flu. -------------- VALBHS is proud to announce that we are coming out to the community to offer flu shots and COVID-19 tests for Veterans enrolled with VA. WHEN: Saturday, November 7 @ 8 AM - 12 PM WHERE: American Legion Post 291, 215 15th St., Newport Beach, CA 92663 Registration is highly encouraged. Call 562-826-5151 to request an appointment for the November 7 Pop-Up Clinic. --------------- Please follow us for future pop-up clinic announcements!
