To Our Vallejo Little League Families, Good Afternoon. We are hoping all is well, that everyone is safe and we are taking the new walks of life in stride. We are sending this information to you to cover a few subjects on our list.... First, on July 18th, starting at 9:00 AM at Williams Field (Baseball Field by MIT) we will do a drive up uniform collection for all paid members. This includes any payment plan, percentage or fully paid players. Simply drive up on Positive PL, stay to the right and go through the drive-thru lanes, exiting to the left after your pick up. Some coaches will be picking up certain teams uniforms to pass out under their own decision, this is not something controlled or sponsored by VLLB. So if you’d like your uniform to stay in the pick up area, please contact your player agents whenever possible. PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT OR PROOF OF REGISTRATION , so we can verify uniform handouts. The Schedule for pick up is as follows : 9:00 AM Major and Minor Division 10:00 AM Junior / Intermediate Division 11:00 AM Tee-Ball and Farm Division Secondly, Due to Government Mandates / Guidelines and State Affairs concerning Covid-19 and Safety Protocols ; Little League Baseball in Vallejo cannot continue and will be officially cancelled for the 2020 Season. We wanted to hold on as long as possible to bring forth a late Summer / Fall program, but with movement in the local governments, health agencies, other national organizations that oversee our current situations and the recent large spike in COVID Positive Testing ; it’s been deemed far too unsafe to have a season at this time. Today’s shutdown information finalized it. We understand there is a level of disappointment and the board of directors is extremely saddened by this unfortunate decision. We were looking to start new and show just how far we’ve come. Covid-19 is an event that none of us could’ve saw coming. Unfortunately we are sad to report, we do not have the funds to issue a refund for the 2020 season, however we are actively working on something to give back to the families should you come back for the upcoming 2021 Season. Good Evening, We know that there hasn't been much communication concerning the Season and it's status. We've only been able to discuss possible plans and what to do, while waiting for more information from agencies that handle the details. Best practice is never to assume. It's been a rough and interesting two months and as we enter into the depth of Phase 2, things are being brought to the forefront concerning when / if / where there will be a season for play in 2020. Valle...jo Little League is part of District 53 which is our governing organization within Little League International. When the District moves forward, we will be moving forward. There have been ideas and discussions about safe play keeping in mind protocols that will have to be integrated into the environment of play be it games and or practices. We have to follow State, County guidelines and protocols as well as the ones Little League International institutes. Little League International and our County board of health have given us documentation to be discussed, which as a board via a ZOOM call will be setup sometime soon. Our safety officers will formulate a plan following these guidelines and overlooking what is the best way to ensure a safe environment to return to the field. Once these are completed, parents and guardians will be able to overlook these documents to decide on whether they feel they should return. We aren't there yet. However, we will be ready if the Season is approved. There will be an open discussion tonight on where and when we can supply the managers the uniforms and team gear that was ordered for their parents. Once the discussion is closed, we will update our Calendar on the website and social media outlets. Bear with us as just as all of you have had to deal with the hardships or the times; we are normal people trying to move within the boundaries and system as well. We understand that it's been a hard wait. Trust, we want to return to the field just as the players do. As we get information, we will release it. Things are speeding up now, storefronts and areas are letting public non essentials back into the mix. So we are all part of the system and with our kids and players, there has to be careful consideration of what's viable and absolute. LEAGUE STORE IS UP! It does say 14 days, we are CLOSING IT IN 6. To give a chance at everyone receiving their product in a timely fashion. On the final day, the order has a WHOLE is sent off to fabrication and then shipped out to our league location which will then deliver it from concessions or to your TEAM MANAGERS. The league receives 10% of the proceeds. All team color schemes available and ZERO refunds. All orders are FINAL.

Today is the last day for player evaluations! We are also having uniform fittings - same time same place!

February 22nd, Saturday, 2:30 pm : Mandatory eval for all players 13-15/16 . We will be at the Dan Foley Turf Field at 2:30pm until 4pm (1461 N. Camino Alto, Vallejo, CA ) near Sutter Hospital. ... Players must have a hat, glove, no cleats. They can wear tennis shoes or turf shoes. This is open to all 13-16 year olds and you must register in person or at www.vallejolittleleague.com

Upcoming Events. Click for extended details. Also, at the F.E.S (February 22nd, Thurmon Field (Evaluation Sessions) we will be doing sizing of the players for the Tee-Ball to Major Division. So please come down, get your player sized and again this is for Tee-Ball to Major Division. The F.E.S starts at 9am, someone will be able to size your player(s) until 1:30pm. The Intermediate, Junior and Senior players will be meeting on February 22nd, at 2:30 PM. We will update with another post informing of the location.

Come out to Thurmon Field today for Little League Evaluations!! 7-8 years old @ 10am 9-10 years old @ 11am 11-12 years old @ 12pm... *Please arrive an hour early to sign in and warm up!

We are still taking registrations for ALL players. We want to let you all know, there are programs for your 13-15 year old players, please visit www.vallejolitteleague.com . Under registration info, click Available Programs and then it'll start the registration process. You can select 50/70 (11-13 years of age), Juniors (12-14 years of age) or Senior (13-15 years of age). Once that's completed someone from the Upper Division staff will be contacting you. Space will be limited... as we just recently booked games with Richmond, Walnut Creek, Clayton, Brentwood, Concord and Pinole. We will be booking games with our own District 53 in the next week or two. Start Date for Intermedia will be March 22nd, 2020. Juniors will be April 1st, 2020 and Seniors in May. The Evaluation Session for Upper Divisions will be on February 22nd at 2:00pm. All players from all 3 divisions will be meeting and we will be doing on field evaluations.
