On Friday June 4th, 2021 the station held a Change of Command ceremony to say farewell to Senior Chief Widdows & to welcome Chief Snider! To say we will miss Senior Chief Widdows would be an understatement, he has left a highly positive impact on the station and the Morro Bay community. That being said, welcome Chief Snider, we look forward to continuing excellent service to our community!

Farewell to MK1 Rodriguez. After 4 years, 6 engine changes, countless SAR cases & fulfilling the job as Assistant Engineering Petty Officer, he is leaving us for an Engineering Petty Officer job at Station Oregon Inlet in beautiful North Carolina! He will be missed!
This week BM3 Britton was presented the Coast Guard Commendation Medal for his heroic actions of pulling 3 people from a burning vehicle while off duty on July 5th, 2020.
