Dear clients, Following new state guidance, we have been shutdown as of July 15th, until further notice. We are tentatively scheduling services as of August 12th for the Downtown location and August 14th for the Kensington location. We look forward to being back soon! ... We will be reopening our East Village location on Tuesday, June 23rd and our Kensington location on Friday, July 10th. If you previously had an appointment scheduled that we had to cancel during the last few months, we will be reaching out to you this week to reschedule. We will begin booking appointments and responding to all calls and emails on Wednesday. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Dear Clients, With the current situation rapidly changing we now see it necessary to temporarily suspend offering treatments at Urban Calm. While we would love to continue operating as usual we do feel the responsibility to our community to do our part to avoid the spread of this virus. It is our hope that by April 1st we will be able to resume our normal operations and activities. We will be taking bookings for April at this time. We will be playing this by ear and followi...ng any direction and guidelines from local authorities. We will continue to be available to you each day for a limited number of hours for future scheduling, gift certificates, and product sales. We will be offering free shipping on all retail orders over fifty dollars if you are in need of any products and would like to avoid being out and about. You can call or email us to place an order. While some of the following precautions are always implemented in our spa we want you to know what we are doing to ensure your safety: Sanitizing our interior and exterior doorknobs, light switches, and call box multiple times throughout the day Disinfecting each and every product bottle we may use during treatments in between clients All linens are freshly laundered for each client Our treatment rooms are disinfected before and after every service We always have and always will thoroughly wash our hands before and after every client Our employees have been instructed to stay home if they are feeling unwell. We also kindly ask that if you are feeling unwell you please notify us right away to reschedule your appointment. We want to thank you for your support and your loyalty. We are so excited to introduce you to our new team member, Elizabeth! Elizabeth is a Certified Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician/Certified Master Esthetician. She has been in the spa industry for six years and brings with her so much passion and enthusiasm for wellness and beauty. Yesterday I overheard one of her clients tell her that he had received massages around the world and that was by far the best massage he had ever experienced. We are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth to our team and we can’t wait for you to meet her!
